SheaksBeing a musician using linear scale instruments - piano; flutes; horns; reeds - I was always intimidated by the "horizontal" scales of stringed instruments. This book builds on the concepts applicable to linear scale instruments; and applies them to the stringed instruments. With just a little mind work; I now "see" the linear scales on the neck of string instruments. This greatly facilitates learning. It also has excellent diagrams of all the basic chords in their various positions; for easy "rote" learning/review.
