The photos are unlabeled and oftenhave nothing to do with the text. There are pictures from other books by this publisher I have seenin the last few days. Nature is truly awesome; but this book makes a joke of it. The writing is ok; butnot good enough to keep the interest of my kids. They wanted to know what that picture was doingin the middle of the text since it was not related to what they were reading. I think this could havebeen a better book. Use the cover photo of the Grand Canyon when you discuss it in the book; nota picture that really does not relate to it. Lots of instances like that and some information that wasok but should have been organized better. Talking about animals; places; and weather I think shouldtell someone they need to organize their book that way; but then if the publisher is so sloppy theydo not make changes I guess it doesnt matter.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The pictures are so vividBy MICHELLE (Meshelly)This book is about nature; and how it sparks a childrsquo;s imagination. Nature will also teach children how animals and insects get their food; with nature facts! The pictures are so vivid they will make children feel they are in the book! For learning and understanding; I recommend this book to parents/teachers of young kids under 5th grade level. Pictures make it great for all ages!I would like to state I am faithful and frequently shopper on . I; like you; rely on consumers honest opinion of a product/products that I may have intentions of purchasing at that moment or in the future. I was given the opportunity to receive this item for free or at a discounted price in exchange for my use; examination; and over all thoughts and recommendations. I havent; nor will I ever leave a false opinion of a product out of obligation. Nor have I or would I ever except any form of monies in exchange for my assessment of an item; and or give a dishonest and false evaluation. No one in any way has or will coach me on what to or not to say about an item. I am not obligated to give a positive review. In fact I have been asked to be completely honest to help the company/companies provide the best products possible for their customers.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Great pictures; random nature factsBy Duck MDNature is awesome. This is by far the best book that I have ever read that was published by speedy publishers. It is 52 pages long with almost half of the pages having writing on them. The other pages are filled with high quality pictures. I did receive the e version of this book for free in exchange for my honest unbiased review. This book starts off with 2 pictures then we are greeted with a page of nature facts. On this page we learn about horses. The interesting facts that we learn about horses are related to their eyesight and eyes. The next page is also a nature facts page. Here we learn about mice. I learned something new. I always knew that mice can fit thru small holes; but I didnrsquo;t know just how small of a hole until now. After a close up picture of a flower we are greeted with nature facts about butterflies. Did you know that butterflies drink nectar from flowers? This is an educational book that my kids find fascinating. I like that they are learning about a wide variety of things. On the next page we are greeted with a picture of a large beautiful waterfall. On the page following it talks about Iguazu Falls; so I assume that is the water fall that we are looking at. We learn cool facts about this Iguazu Falls; like where it is located; how many water falls make up this one massive water fall; who discovered it; and what the name means. We next learn about lions. I was once at a zoo when one of the lions decided to roar; it was loud; but I learned in this book that a lionrsquo;s roar can be heard five miles away. We get to see a picture of a lion then we see a giant panda bear picture. So guess what we are going to learn about next; you guessed it pandas. Then we move on to nature facts about Macaws. ldquo;Macaws are native to Central America-Most species are associated with forests; especially rainforests; but others prefer woodland or savannah like habitatsrdquo; we see a picture of the head of a macaw; then we see pictures of some four legged creature. The next description is of poison dart frogs; and their picture follows the fun facts that we learn about them. We next learn about tigers and how they take turns eating with females and cubs usually getting to eat first. Apparently lions do not take turns eating like this. Now we start learning about reptiles with some fun nature facts about snakes. We learn how they smell; and what they feel like. Did you know that snakes can climb trees? How do they climb; well you will have to read the book to find out. Next we learn about turtles; and we see a beautiful picture of a sea turtle swimming with some tropical fish above a reef. Next we see pictures of two different waterfalls; and then the nature facts takes us to the Grand Canyon. We continue on with pictures of volcanoes and coral reefs. In this book we also learn about weather phenomenon like tornadoes and tsumanis. This is a great book. You learn a little about many different things. I think that this book may encourage young readers to learn more about things that peak their interest; which I think is a great thing. I hope that you have found my review to be helpful; if so please click yes. Thank you.
