I havent gone through the entire book yet; so Ill focus on the Rock Around The Clock transcription. I question the accuracy of the first two measures in the guitar solo. In listening to the original recording; those first two transcribed measures dont seem accurate. Ive also watched on line tutorials of this and they differ from those two measures in the book. But; the rest seems pretty accurate. I recommend this book; and as always; best to listen to the recording(s). But you already know that.42 of 42 people found the following review helpful. Nice IntroductionBy CustomerThis book gives you a great introduction to the classics of Rockabilly. Elvis; Eddie Cochran; Gene Vincent; The Stray Cats are all included in this collection. Some of the the tabs arent exact; but they are close enough for government work. The differences are slight and it would take an expert to be able to tell any difference between the recorded version and the included tabs. It has a really nice cross section of songs and this really would be the perfect companion for someone who wants to learn some of the classic songs of the genre.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
