I have been in the photography business for over 30 years and this book taught me a few new things; yet its also a great book for the not so experienced photographer. I found that this book greatly increased my knowledge of how to take night photographs with its very well written and very well illustrated content. It covers the technical aspects as well as the practical aspects of night photography.It is focused on night photography with a camera; wide angle lens; and tripod. It omits any information on the use of a tracker to enable much longer exposures and longer focal length lenses. This book is detailed; and organized to answer all your questions; it provides important information about post processing using Photoshop and Lightroom working with the RAW files to achieve the highest quality. After reading this book; I went out on a perfectly clear night before dawn and took some of the most amazing photographs I ever have. This book has opened up a new world of photographic possibilities to me. If you have looked with awe at beautiful night landscape photographs such as those taken by Jennifer Wu and wondered exactly how to do it; wonder no longer; this book explains everything!
